After introducing Dan & Rohan in our latest shoot, we continue the story as they highlight more of their favourite pieces from the Spring Summer ’20 collections that are hitting Parade.
We enlisted Lewis Khan, a photographic artist who's focus is on the study of emotion, relationships, and identity, to capture Dan and Rohan. We used a classic, but now underused, skate spot in Greenwich, London, which provided a unique backdrop that contextualised the SS20 clothing they picked out.
Shooting just before the Coronavirus outbreak, we took a closer look at Butter Goods. For those who don't know, Butter Goods are a brand formed in 2008 by two friends from Perth, Australia. They take inspiration from various aspects of popular culture and, of course, the world of skateboarding. This places Butter Goods at an interesting cross-section, one which is very relevant today.
The Spring Summer ’20 collection features many quality items in classic Butter Goods stylings, with cues taken from workwear and functional clothing. The Field Convertible Jacket in tree camo is the stand-out, coming with matching pants and featuring exceptional details. Other great pieces include the Corduroy Ranger pullover, Hickory Stripe Work Pants, and Hampshire 1/4 Zip Pullover.
All photography by Lewis Khan.
