It’s been an impressive couple of years in terms of releases from adidas Skateboarding, and they don't appear to be showing any signs of slowing up. Having already given us their 3ST line, which continues to be expanded upon, as well as the Tyshawn Pro, adidas now presents a third new model which comes in the form of the adidas Liberty Cup.
The adidas Liberty Cup is inspired by the silhouette of late 90’s court shoes, paying homage to 90’s skateboarding with its obvious tennis influences, after all, it was these tennis style court shoes that inspired many of that decade's most popular skate shoes.
The shoe is made up of a combination of soft suede, smooth leather and breathable mesh uppers with plenty of protection in the ollie areas, meaning the shoe should stand up to the abuse of even the most demanding of skateboarders.
The shoe gets its comfort and cushioning in the form of a Bounce midsole which helps to absorb impacts and keep you feeling comfortable on your feet and also guarding against the prospect of the dreaded heel bruise.
The Adidas Liberty Cup will be available initially in two colourways - Cloud White, Gold Metallic, Gum and Core Black, Footwear White, Gum - with plenty of new colourways to look forward to in the future. The Liberty Cup is another solid addition to Adidas’ range of technical skate shoes.
