Blondey McCoy recently took to Instagram to announce that he’s retiring his former brand Thames for the immediate future at least, suggesting it was more of a ‘Ciao for now’ rather than a final farewell. As Blondey continues to work across many different creative channels it’s refreshing to see his honesty in both letting people know and citing that it became more of a laborious task as it grew over the seven years of operation.
Blondey has already started a transition into something new by the creation of his own Blondey McCloy label, which is focusing on smaller, one-off pieces rather than being bound by traditional fashion seasons and volumes.
