Primitive Skateboards have commenced a new series of mini-docs which take a look behind the scenes of the skate trips that went into forming their recent full-length film, Encore. Episode 1 takes focus on a trip to Chengdu, China, which started with serious flight delays and ended up being the team's most productive trip ever.

Often China skate spots just flash by in seconds within a skate video, with only the privileged few who've actually been to those spots able to denote where exactly in China they are. So it's nice to see an in-depth look at a certain city and just how many NBD spots they found.
We think the highlight is this edit is the Tiago outtakes, just seeing the lines in a more raw format to his polished Encore part, makes them feel all the more epic. Also featuring Primitive Skateboards team riders Carlos Ribeiro, Trent McClung, Robert Neal, and Jenn Soto.
Directed and edited by Alan Hannon. Filmed by Alan Hannon and Tommy Zhao. Still Photography by Oliver Barton.
