If you don't know Same Old magazine, it's a treasure trove of a look into skateboarding's huge archive. Or better put by themselves "a bewildering trip through skateboarding's rich and varied history."
The magazine is made up of classic photography and images pulled from various skate mags from throughout the 80s and 90s period. Its scrapbook style layout contains so much visual information on skateboarding history that it will pull you back in for many views.
Aside from the magazine, they produce little films that tie into the overall narrative of there project. The latest is 'hosted' by Bobby Puleo, who you'd have never guessed would drift into YouTube content, as he looks at various Pro Signature Skate Shoes from inductees of Skateboarding's very own Hall Of Fame. There's a pretty mixed bag of styles ranging from a Vans Half-Cab through to a Daewon DVS to an obscure DC Danny Way XX hi-top, perfectly engineered for high air and Mega Ramp skating. Enjoy.
