Element has a huge history within skateboarding. Starting as Underworld Element in the early 90s it was run by Andy Howell, previously of New Deal Skateboards and based out of Atlanta. As Element grew it moved to California and began the transition into the Element we know today. A long list of talented skateboarders was part of this journey. Tim O'Connor, Natas Kaupas, Donny Barley, Bam, Muska, Vallely, the list is long.
Under the banner of - Wind, Water, Fire, Earth - they set out to produce honest and ethical clothing for a range of people. Element was one of the first to invest deeply in women with Vanessa Torres as their first female skateboarder.
Today Element Skateboards is backed by a ranging team from Nyjah Huston to Brandon Westgate to Evan Smith. Their recent Peace skate video set an insane standard in production and skateboarding. Relatively new rider Mason Silva closed out the video.
