Jerry Hsu

Jerry Hsu is a skateboarder and photographer from Los Angeles, California. He currently owns and operates the clothing company Sci-Fi Fantasy.

Hsu's photography work was first introduced to many by his Tumblr account which was called Nazi Gold. Here Jerry would post mobile phone photos from his various travels in the United States and further afield.

Hsu has released several anthology editions of his photography work. The most recent of these is titled The Beautiful Flower Is The World. It's a collection of iPhone and Blackberry pictures found on his Tumblr.

He has worked on various other photography projects over the years. In 2010 he exhibited alongside Ed Templeton and Kevin Long in a show in Stockholm titled Vatican Gold. His zine was Table For One documented his obsession with people eating alone.

Hsu's first-ever photo book, The Killing Fields, was published in 2013. It was based on a skateboarding trip across Vietnam, where he travelled from North to South on a moped.

As a skateboarder, Jerry Hsu had many major video parts. Including in Stay Gold, Subject to Change and enjoi's Bag of Suck.
