The Jack Purcell started life as a badminton shoe, originally designed in 1935 by the badminton world champion who gave it its name. Jake Johnson’s modern take on the Jack Purcell includes a durable rubber backed suede to stand up to the demands of skateboarding, alongside added cushioning for impact absorption and comfort. There’s an embossed thistle detail on the tongue of the shoe which commemorates Johnson’s time on the coast.‘
Somewhere in Pennsylvania’ features the talents of Jake Johnson, Louie Lopez, Kaue Cossa, Brian Delatorre, Aaron Herrington, Eddie Cernicky, Otto Ray and Andrew Torralvo.
The video was filmed and edited by James Cruickshank, with help from Ryan Lee and Otto Ray.
