Brandon Westgate has been on a charge again. Fresh from Element’s Peace video, which literally only dropped a few months ago, he delivers another banger for this recent Thrasher part to launch his new signature model - the New Balance Numeric 913 Westgate.

Featuring a range of New Balance technology, borrowed from their running silhouettes, the NM913 is given an edge above your average skate shoe. Westgate clearly had a lot of design direction and autonomy with the shoe featuring his preferred one-piece suede toe design.

New Balance’s own Fantom Fit is employed throughout the upper, which provides medial fit and support in ultra-light form that is fused together rather than sewn. REVlite technology runs through the midsole, further dropping weight and the NM913 adds breathability through an inside mesh panel. For the 'jumpers', the outsole brings N2 cushioning in the all-important heel area and even the lace eye-stay’s are rubberised as not to blow out. So they really threw the kitchen sink at this. Nothing Westgate doesn't deserve.

All-in-all this is solid skate shoe from New Balance Numeric. And coming from such a reputable skateboarder as Brandon Westgate, it's pretty much a no-brainer to try out. Available now in three colourways, black, teal and sand.

As always, you can find this shoe on the New Balance Numeric brand page or by searching Westgate or NM913 to see the shoe up-close.
