This collaboration highlights the attention to detail of Gilbert Crockett, who is not only meticulous in his approach to skateboarding, but also in the shoe design process. The Crockett High updates Gilbert's classic pro model, re-working it into a high top skate shoe for improved performance. The design features basketball and military boot-inspired lines.
The two Quasi colourways - true white/surf the web and black/blue - make reference to Gilbert's passion for thrifting, art, and vintage style. The mesh and blue details of the true white/surf the web colourway are inspired by 70s sport, whilst the black/blue take their cues from military origins as well as vintage Vans high-tops.
Both shoes come equipped with Vans Pro Skate technical features - this includes DURACAP reinforced suede and canvas uppers, UltraCush HD sockliners and Wafflecup construction - offering cupsole style support without losing out on the grip and boardfeel of a traditional vulcanized model.
