We were recently able to catch up with Francis Peters whilst he was in London shooting some bits with Converse. Francis is a skateboarder from Bristol who first came onto our radar back in 2017 when, the now sadly defunct, Sidewalk Magazine featured him in a First Light article.
Since then Francis has somewhat ‘blown up’, he featured alongside the likes of Casey Foley, Alex Schmidt and Ben Gore in Butter Goods 2018 video ‘Spoons’, where he joined the guys on the Bristol leg of their U.K excursion.

Francis has also recently been officially welcomed to the Skateboard Cafe team, releasing a great Welcome part filmed by Rich Smith. As well as this, he rides for and works at Fifty Fifty in Bristol, a skate shop we’re stoked to be able to partner with.
His appearances in magazines have increased of late, thanks in part to his friend and photographer James Griffiths, but also because Francis is pretty damn talented and seems humble to boot. Most notably he’s received an Up interview in Grey, as well as appearing in the pages of both Vague and Free.
Outside of skateboarding Francis both studies and makes his own music. He describes it as “very experimental” with a “lot of influences from Boards of Canada”. We’d recommend checking out his Bandcamp and having a listen.
Francis’ sponsors are Skateboard Cafe, Butter Goods, Converse, Ace Trucks and Fifty Fifty.
