Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg, Backside Noseblunt, Utrecht, Netherlands, 2014.
This backside noseblunt was shot in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The sculpture was designed by the Dutch artist André Volten. Lending itself perfectly for skateboarding Marcel and Oski seized the moment, with Oski quickly climbing up pulling to back noseblunt pretty quickly after a switch noseblunt warm-up. The photo graced the cover of the June, 2014 issue of the now obsolete Kingpin Magazine. It was also used as a cover for the book Riding Modern Art, edited by Raphael Zarka, which showcases the re-appropriation of skateboarding on sculptures within the realm. It footage o the trick was infamously seen the seminal Polar Skate Co. film, I Like It Here Inside My Mind. Don't Wake Me This Time.

About the photographer: Marcel Veldman hails from the Netherlands and has spent his youth and adult life thus far shooting skateboarding and its closely associated worlds. Immersing himself within the scenes he documents, Marcel founded the infamous Fluff Magazine and released the book Roll Models Midnight To Six. Living in Amsterdam, Marcel continues to document the worlds he lives within.
