The Powell Peralta Steadham Skull and Spade skateboard deck was first released in 1985. The Steve Steadham pro model deck was one of the best sellers for Powell at the time, thanks in part to the Craig Stecyk drawn Rasta skull graphic and the sidecut shape.

Powell Peralta re-issue decks are close reproductions of their counterparts from the 1980s. They feature the original pro graphics, shape, top graphic logo and concave. They re-issue decks are manufactured in Powell's Santa Barbara skateboard factory.
